There are many ways fundholders can make a charitable gift through Austin Community Foundation. Contributing to your fund is fast, easy, and secure with several methods for your convenience.

Ways to Give

  • Give by wire transfer or ACH

    If you plan to make a wire or ACH contribution, please notify us by completing this form. A staff member will review the request and send transfer instructions to the email address provided.

  • Give stock

    Follow these steps to donate stock to a fund at the Foundation:

    Step 1: Notify us. We ask that you email us at stock@austincf.org of your intention to transfer a stock gift by providing the following information:

    Donor Information – Name, Address, phone number
    Broker name and firm
    Description of stock – Company name and number of shares
    This gift is securities for – Name of Fund or purpose of gift

    Step 2: Transfer stock. Provide your broker with the following information:

  • Give by credit card

    Log in to the donor portal to give by credit card any time.

  • Give by mail

    Mail your check payable to Austin Community Foundation and note in the memo line which fund you would like to support.

  • Cryptocurrency

    Submit information about your donation using this form. After submitting, the confirmation will provide a link to make your donation through Giving Block.

    After your donation is processed, you will receive a gift receipt from Giving Block. The currency will be converted to cash and deposited into your charitable fund at ACF within a few days.

  • Other assets

    We accept most types of gifts including the following:

    • Bonds
    • Business interests
    • Estate assets
    • Life insurance
    • Mutual fund shares
    • Oil and gas, mineral or timber rights
    • Private securities
    • Publicly traded securities
    • Real property
    • Retirement assets (IRA, retirement plans)
    • Tangible personal property
