Sydney’s role:
My job is to oversee the investment programs across ACF’s entire platform. I am responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Housing Accelerator Loan Fund, as well as the receipt, oversight and disposition of complex gifts. I also serve as the Foundation’s primary contact for external financial advisors that we work with through our separately managed donor advised fund program.
What brought Sydney to the Foundation:
Having moved to Austin over twenty years ago, it is truly a privilege to give back to the city I love and call home. I am excited to work alongside others committed to a more equitable Austin, and to be a part of the Foundation’s amazing growth in the years to come.
What Sydney did before:
I have spent the last decade in investment management roles across multiple asset classes including private real estate, public equity and public debt. Prior to joining the Austin Community Foundation team, I served as Regional Director at Dimensional Fund Advisors where I managed institutional client relationships. I earned my BBA in Finance and Business Honors from the University of Texas at Austin, along with a BA in Spanish Literature. I am a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Charterholder and hold inactive FINRA licenses 7 and 66.
Sydney’s favorite things to do in Central Texas:
Outside of work, you can find me spending time outdoors with my husband and son. I am an avid runner, reader and traveler, and I love trying new sports and workout types–most recently, tennis!
